paleo muffins  

CrossFit Games are upon us! Mike and his wife Jeannie have been so kind to host the party this year. It will take place this Saturday at 18:00 (6pm) at the Pajor Palace. Details will be at the gym! Bring a beverage and a Paleo dish to pass!!

WOD

The workout is as follows, you must move 5,000/3,500lbs 500 feet. In order to do this you have to move the weight an equal amount of times from ground to over head every 100 feet until the weight and distance is complete.

Here is the break down.

If you use 135/95lb you will have to do 5 rounds of carrying it 100 feet and then performing 8 reps of either the snatch or the clean and jerk.

If you use 115/80lb you will have to do 5 rounds of carrying it 100 feet and then performing 9 reps of either the snatch or the clean and jerk.

If you use 95/65lb you will have to do 5 rounds of carrying it 100 feet and then performing 11 reps of either the snatch or the clean and jerk.

If you use 75/50 you will have to do 5 rounds of carrying it 100 feet and then performing 14 reps of either the snatch or the Clean and jerk.

You may carry the weight anyway you like as long as it is off the floor. You may rest anyway you like and anytime you like.

Pick your weight wisely. If you go less/heavier than the weights prescribed adjust the reps accordingly.
