*When doing the Hand Release push ups the body will remain rigid when it is on the floor and the hips, legs and stomach will NOT touch the floor only the chest will touch. Lift hands while your body remains rigid and then push the body up as a stiff board (try to imagine you have a board tied to your back).This link gives a great demonstration of the rigidness of the push up. If the Hand Release Push up seems to be easier then regular push ups you are doing it wrong.
