Above video is a friend of miune performing the Clean and Jerk with the Kettlebell. Notice how she does not flip the bell over her hand but moves it around her wrist. Keep your elbow tight to your side and twist your forearm and wrist in order to catch the weight properly.

With the Jerk notice how she maintains control with the bell overhead  and her head is through the hole.
